Lord Jesus Christ, thank you that, by you, all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible. You warned us not to store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal, but to store up treasures in heaven. Guard our hearts and may we, in bringing our offerings to you now, store up treasure in your kingdom. May your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
