My Good Shepherd, in this time of distress and despair, I ask that You walk close beside me through this dark valley. Protect and comfort me, renew my strength, and guide me along the right path. I will not be afraid when You are with me. I have all that I need, for You are my great provider. Your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life. Amen.
