Loving God, You know I have just received this report, and the prognosis is grim. I lay this out in front of You. My heart is steadfast in You. I will not fear these evil tidings. My will and intellect are fixed, trusting in You, my Lord. My inner man is at rest. I know that I will ultimately look with satisfaction on this affliction as it melts away. Thank You, gracious Healer, for giving freely of the oil of Your Spirit to flow through and heal my body. Amen.
